Agilent Technologies in a field

The Splash unearthed this circa-1981 photo of Hewlett Packard (now Agilent Technologies) when it was surrounded by undeveloped fields. Things have certainly changed in the last 25+ years!
The high-tech company recently announced another round of layoffs, and company officials said they are considering options for the massive complex, including selling it outright or leasing out space (Click for story).
